Bupa Hong Kong has significantly expanded its medical network across mainland China by forming partnerships with four leading healthcare providers. The new collaborations with Fosun Health, Prosper Health, The GBA Healthcare Group, and Zhongshan Chen Xinghai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine will bring Bupa’s services to 69 locations spanning 10 cities in Southern China.
With this expansion, Bupa Hong Kong customers will have access to a wider range of healthcare services, including inpatient and day procedures, all covered under the insurer’s Guarantee of Payment system. This system eliminates the need for upfront payments or post-visit claims, streamlining the healthcare process for its members.
The new network includes several Tier III Class A hospitals in key cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Foshan. These hospitals, which hold the highest classification in China’s hospital grading system, are known for their high standards of care and service quality.
Additionally, the expanded network will offer specialized treatments such as cancer care, endoscopic procedures, and orthopaedic surgeries, further enhancing healthcare choices for Bupa Hong Kong’s members in the Greater Bay Area.
This expansion underscores Bupa’s commitment to enhancing healthcare access and services in the region, ensuring more convenient options for its growing customer base.
